Day 01 - Arrival in Leh

Highlights:

Arrival Leh Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport one of the world highest operated airport in the world at 3500 mtr above sea level . On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun in Zanskar valley. Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by Welcome tea or Coffee at the Hotel. Evening Visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 02: LEH - EXCURSION TO SHAM VALLEY (35- 40 KMS  One Way 4-5HRS)

Highlights:

After breakfast drive towards western part of Ladakh along the Indus river on Leh – Srinagar highway. And start sightseeing with Hall of Fame (Museum founded by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib founded in 15th century, Nestled deep in the Himalayas, drive ahead another 5 km for Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reached the Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River. After visiting above places we drive back to Leh enroute visiting Spituk Monastery, Built in 11th century during the region of Gragspa ‘Bum-lde, the monastery use to follow Kadampa school of Buddhism until 15th century where Gelukpa school of buddhism was started and still in practice with Gelukpa order. Overnight at hotel in Leh

DAY 03:  LEH–NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,380 FT. (120 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS)

Highlights:

After breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,380 ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.

Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight Stay at the Camp or Hotel.

DAY 04:  NUBRA TURTUK NUBRA 

Highlights:

After breakfast, drive towards Turtuk Village cushioned by the scenic Karakoram mountains.Witness Turtuk Gram Panchayat which is the northernmost village of India. Discover the largest apricot producing village in India.Get back to your tents/hotel in Nubra Valley by evening.Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

DAY 05:  NUBRA VALLEY  TO PANGONG 

Highlights:

This morning, visit Panamik, famous for its hot springs, then drive to Pangong Tso (lake), which is the largest brackish lake in Asia. A large part of it extends into Tibet. The lake is 80 miles (130 km) long and 3 miles (5 km) at its widest point. It freezes completely in winter and there's no marine life here, except for a few migrating birds like gulls and Brahminy ducks.

As this is a border region, the furthest point you're allowed to go to is Spangmik, from where there are spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north, as well as their reflections in the ever-changing surface of the blue-green lake. Above Spangmik are the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Pangong range. Spend the night on the shores of Pangong Tso.

DAY 06: PANGONG LAKE TO LEH (180 KMS / 5-7 HRS)

Highlights:

Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to leh enroute visiting Hemis monastery, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyut Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight

In the evening you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping.

Day 07 - Departure from Leh

Highlights:

After breakfast, get transferred to Leh Airport for boarding the flight to your destination. Tour concludes with some wonderful long lasting memories
