Day 01 - Bagdogra – Phuntsholing

Highlights:

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport, we will arrange your pickup for further journey to Phuntsholing.

​

You will be proceed to Phuntsholing – the gateway to Bhutan.

​

We will transfer to your hotel, check in to your hotel, get fresh and enjoy the Place.

​

Enjoy your dinner in hotel.

Day 02 - Phuntsholing – Paro

Highlights:

Today we proceed to Paro. En route visit Tamcho iron bridge near pa chu.

 

Upon arrival at Paro, we visit, Paro Dzong- a large dzong - Buddhist monastery and fortress.

 

Further we visit Ta-Dzong also known as National Museum. In the evening we have some free time for shopping at local market.

Day 03 - Paro – Taktshang Monastery – Paro

Highlights:

Today we visit Taktshang Monastery- famously known as Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Clinging on a cliff at a height of 3120 meters above the sea level, this ancient monastery is a gem of Paro Valley. a trek of total 12km from Paro town. After returning from Tiger’s Nest, we proceed to the view point of Drukgyel Dzong – a Victory Fortress. In the evening we enjoy the Bhutanese cultural program.

Day 04 - Paro – Chele La Pass – Punakha

Highlights:

Today we visit Chele-la-Pass – the highest motorable pass in the western regions of Bhutan located between picturesque Haa Valley and Paro Valley. Further we proceed to Punakha. En route we visit Lamperi Botanical Garden, Dochula Pass and 108 memorial chortens also known as Druk Wangyal Chorten. Further we proceed to the low lands on Punakha valley. Upon arrival we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

Please note: Chele-la-Pass is situated at a high altitude, which may pose challenges for guests with certain health conditions. If you have pre-existing health issues, we strongly recommend consulting with your doctor before planning your visit to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Night Stay: Punakha

Day 05 - Punakha - Phobjikha Valley – Punakha

Highlights:

Today we have a full day excursion to Phobjikha Valley which is known for its migration of the black necked cranes and the beauty of its valley. We will visit Gangtey Monastery which is one of the oldest monasteries lying at an elevation of 3000m, Nature walk at Phobjikha Valley and Black-Necked Crane Information Center. Later we enjoy a thrilling experience of white water rafting in the Punakha river.

Day 06 - Punakha – Thimphu

Highlights:

Today we visit the famous Punakha Dzong – the second oldest and second largest Dzong in Bhutan. Then we proceed to Thimphu- the capital of Bhutan. Upon arrival we visit BBS Clock Tower, and Tashichho Dzong. In the evening we have free time at the local market.

Day 07 - Thimphu

Highlights:

Today we explore Thimphu city, we visit Motithang mini zoo – a wildlife reserve area for ‘Takin’ the national animal of Bhutan, Buddha Dordenma Statue, and the Standing Buddha Park. Further we visit National Library and Handicraft Center.

Day 8 - Thimphu – Phuntsholing – Siliguri  

Highlights:

Today we proceed to Siliguri via Phuntsholing. Here we visit Kharbandi Gompa – built by the Royal Grandmother as her winter residence. In the evening we arrive at Siliguri.

Night Stay: Siliguri

Day 9 - Siliguri – Departure from Bagdogra

After breakfast tour guests will proceed to the airport as per their scheduled group flight departure time and start their journey back home.

  • Any increase in Airfare, Visa fees, Airport taxes, Govt Taxes, Fuel Surcharges and any applicability of new taxes from Govt

  • Any up gradation in Airline class or hotel room category

  • Cost of Air ticket deviation charges

  • Any Increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in all land arrangements which may come in to effect prior to departure

  • Cost of pre or post tour hotel accommodation

  • Any extra expense such as route change, Airline change, Date change, Accommodation facilities, etc incurred due to the unforeseen, unavoidable forced majeuere circumstances during the tour

  • Cost of insurance for 60 years and above

  • Porterage, laundry, telephone charges, shopping, wines & alcoholic beverages, items of personal nature and food or drink which is not part of a set group menu

  • Any extra cost incurred on behalf of an individual due to illness, accident, hospitalization, or any personal emergency

  • Any services or activity charges other than those included in the group tour itinerary

  • To and fro Air fare, Airport transfers, visa fees to join/leave the group for joining and leaving guests

  • Sequence of the day-wise tour program may change depending upon traffic schedules / restrictions on some road

  • Due to bad weather, if you could not visit the places, we shall not be deemed responsible

  • The Taxi service is for sightseeing on point–to-point basis as per the itinerary and NOT to be treated as on disposal.

  • Places / sites not visited as per the given tour route of the day on client’s own advice / choice will not be revisited except on extra payment as per applicable taxi rate.

  • The package of services is pre-paid and so there will be no refund on unutilized services

  • According to Sikkim Govt. policy vehicle like Bus or Tempo Traveler or Sumo or Bolero or Maxx are not allowed to enter in Gangtok city. So this type of vehicle pick & drop only from Gangtok Taxi Stand. Stand to Hotel pick & drop cost approx. Rs.200/- per vehicle (4 seater) Not included in package.

Payments can be made by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Cheque or Demand Draft should be in favour of "Yes Travel World"
