Best of Gangtok with Lachung

Day 01 - Gangtok

Highlights:

Pick up from IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.), the capital of Sikkim.

 

Check-in to hotel & rest of the day is free at leisure. Shop around at M.G. Marg & explore the city on your own.

Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

Day 02 - Changu Lake & Baba Mandir

Highlights:

Pick up from Gangtok hotel at around 7.45 am and transfer to Changu lake & Baba Mandir via Mandakini waterfalls. Return to Gangtok by 4 pm. Evening free to visit Gangtok market at your own.

Optional – Nathula Pass, Nathula closed on Monday and Tuesday

Two passport size photo + 1 valid ID proof with address for eg. aadhar card, voter id, passport, driving license for each members above 5 years is required to create permit.

Condition for Nathula Pass

 

1. Changu Lake & Baba mandir will be on full vehicle but for nathula pass you need to go on clubbing with same or different vehicle.

2. There can be situation where we won't be able to provide you with permit for nathula pass in that case you don't have to pay extra for nathula pass - you can still visit changu lake & Baba mandir

3. Nathula Pass remains closed on Monday & Tuesday but Changu lake & baba Mandir remains opens.

4. If we created the permit and due to any issue nathula pass remains closed then you have to pay extra for nathula pass.

5. If you have any relatives in army, you can contact them and get permit. In such case we won't charge you extra for nathula pass.

Day 03 - Gangtok - Lachung

Highlights:

Pick up from Gangtok hotel at around 7.45 am and transfer to Lachung via Tashi view point, Butterfly or Seven Sister waterfalls [depending on road opened], Mangan Valley [lunch Point], Singhik waterfalls, Naga waterfalls, Toong Check post, Chumthang valley [Tea/Snacks Point],  Bhim nala waterfalls. Reach Lachung by 5-6 pm. Rest at hotel or visit Lachung in the evening.

Day 04 - Lachung - Yumthang Valley - Gangtok

Highlights:

Pick up from Lachung hotel at around 7.00 am and transfer to Yumthang valley.

 

On the way visit Singhba Rhododendron Sanctuary and Hot Waterspot. Return to Lachung by 12 noon.

After Lunch transfer to Gangtok hotel. Reach Gangtok by 6-7 pm. Evening free to visit Gangtok market at your own.

Day 05 - Gangtok - Pelling

Highlights:

Pick up from Gangtok and transfer to Pelling via Sightseeing on the way

Pick up from Pelling hotel at around 9 am and visit pelling full day upto 5 pm.

Day 07 - Pelling to Kalimpong

Highlights:

Morning after breakfast check out from Hotel & drive to Kalimpong. On arrival kalimpong check in Hotel.

Day 08 - Kalimpong

Highlights:

Local tour in Kalimpong with visits to 7 points – Durpin Dara View Point, Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery, Army Golf Course.  After lunch visit Graham’s Home, Deolo View Point, Pine View orchid nursery, Mangaldham Temple. Free evening for shopping at traditional Kalimpong market.

Day 09 - Kalimpong - Darjeeling

Highlights:

Morning after breakfast check out from Hotel & drive to Darjeeling. On arrival Darjeeling visit local sightseeing of Darjeeling. Darjeeling Zoo and Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tea garden, Tenzing Rock and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee center (Closed on Sunday) and Lebong Race Course Area.

Day 10 - Darjeeling - Bagdogra / NJP

Highlights:

Morning after breakfast check out from Hotel & drop to Airport & Railway Station.

  • Any extra cost incurred on behalf of an individual due to illness, accident, hospitalisation, or any personal emergency

  • Anything specifically not mentioned in the ‘tour price includes’ column

  • Sequence of the day-wise tour program may change depending upon traffic schedules / restrictions on some road

  • Due to bad weather, if you could not visit the places, we shall not be deemed responsible

  • The Taxi service is for sightseeing on point–to-point basis as per the itinerary and NOT to be treated as on disposal.

  • Places / sites not visited as per the given tour route of the day on client’s own advice / choice will not be revisited except on extra payment as per applicable taxi rate.

  • The package of services is pre-paid and so there will be no refund on unutilized services
