Day 02 - Amritsar – Khajjiar

About Khajjiar

Khajjiar is a hill station in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Dating from the 12th century, Khajji Nag Temple is dedicated to a serpent god. Nearby, the high-altitude Khajjiar Lake is surrounded by cedar forest. West, Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including deer and bears. Farther west, Dalhousie is a hill station with mountain views, dotted with temples and 19th-century British churches.

Day 03 - Khajjiar - Chamba

Today, we proceed to Khajjiar sightseeing & Chamba sightseeing.

 

Khajjiar is part of the notified Kalatop – Khajjiar sanctuary. The Monal Pheasant, a bird which was fairly common till recent times has become relatively difficult to spot nowadays but this species can be spotted here.

“CLUB HOUSE” The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.”

 

Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama.

Day 06 - Manali - Solang Valley

Highlights:

Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel & then you can proceed to Solang Nala. Solang nala is the adventure capital and you can have variety of activities available in the beautiful Solang valley like rock climbing, rappelling, horse riding, paragliding, gondola ride and many more (optional at extra cost to be borne by the guest).

Solang Nala derives its name from combination of words Solang and Nallah. It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sport conditions.
